Microsoft Enterprise Plans E1/E3/E5 without Teams
As a result of a dispute between the EU Commission and Microsoft over the integration of Teams, EU customers will have to pay EUR 3 more for the new EEA plans.

Dispute because of Teams
The European Commission is checking if Microsoft broke EU competition rules by making its communication tool Teams part of its Office 365 and Microsoft 365 packages.Even though no verdict is in sight yet, Microsoft responds: To better serve our customers and address concerns raised by the European Commission, we're making changes to how we license Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Teams in the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland starting October 1, 2023.
Microsoft Teams is the most popular business communication service used by more than 300 million users. Is hard to imagine that EU companies are going to use Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Enterprise E1, E3 or E5 without Teams. EU companies will have to buy Teams extra and pay 3 EUR more.
Enterprise licenses only without Teams
From Oktober 2023 customers in the EEA and Switzerland who want to use Teams and Microsoft 365 E3/E5 or Office 365 E1/E3/E5 packages will need to buy two different packages: one E1/E3/E5 EEA package without Teams, and separately purchase Microsoft Teams.Prices for EEA plans with yearly subscription

Buy Enterprise licenses with Teams
EU Customers who already have Microsoft 365 E3/E5 or Office 365 E1/E3/E5 or buy untill Oktober 2023 can stick with their plans (included Teams), renew them, and add more users as they usually do.We offer these plans with teams at annual prices so you can keep them for at least a year, add users, and pay less.
These prices are monthly with annual subscription. Secure these low prices and plans, which include Teams, for at least one year by ordering 1 license. You can increase the number of licenses later at any time.
M365 Business Plans
EU Customers who need Business Plans: Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Microsoft 365 Business Premium can keep these plans with Teams. They can also chose for the new EEA Plans.The same is valid for Frontline suites: Microsoft 365 F1, Office 365 F3 and Microsoft 365 F3. Plans for nonprofit organizations and educational institutions do not change.
